DOOM Eternal is the next enry in the acclaimed demon-slaying series by id Software, which was revealed to the world during the E3 in 2018. Other than that awesome, and gorey announcement trailer, however, we didn't get much information regarding the state of the project, or even a release date.
The
DOOM series is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, having the first game been released in December of 1993, and Bethesda have left fans wanting to see more from the game — which will see the Doom Slayer massacring demons on Earth.
While we still may not have a release date for
DOOM Eternal, Bethesda is likely to give us more information on the state of the game, and even an official release date, during this year's E3.
In the meantime, Bethesda has just released — a couple of days ago — a phenomenal concept art that features the Doom Slayer at the gates of "Hell Gate" in
DOOM Eternal, which will definitely keep fans of the series excited for whatever it is that they will be showing in June.
