Bethesda and id Software's
DOOM Eternal was announced, completely out of nowhere, during Bethesda's E3 presentation last year, making fans excited to see a direct sequel to the fantastic
DOOM released in 2015; a game that came as a breath of fresh air for the first person shooter genre.
During last year's E3, Bethesda treated us to a phenomenal trailer for
DOOM Eternal and even introduced us to some of the enemies the Doom Slayer will be, well, slaying as Hell breaks lose on Earthn, no less. Other than that, however, we didn't get much more information regarding the game.
Today, Bethesda has released a very short teaser for the game, which makes us even more excited to see what they have to show for
DOOM Eternal during their E3 presentation, which will be streaming on the
9th of June at 5:30 PM Pacific Time.
Hopefully we'll get a release date for
DOOM Eternal, which is likely to be a 2019 release. In fact, the
DOOM series is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, and the original
DOOM was released in December of 1993, so it would be a fitting date for
DOOM Eternal to come out.
