While some major game developers have recently decided to publically abandon Steam and jump on the more lucrative Epic Games Store exclusivity bandwagon, Bethesda Softworks just announced that their upcoming games are coming to Valve's vastly popular digital distribution platform on PC.
For starters, Steam users will have a chance to purchase
RAGE 2, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, and
DOOM: Eternal at launch. Naturally, all those games will also be available on Bethesda's Online Store, which definitely is a good news, as having a choice is the best choice of them all.
The American publisher is also planning to bring
Fallout 76 to Steam, and that re-release should happen later in the year. It's unclear if the online-focused title will use Steam's network to connect players (the game's troublesome launcher was one of the main reasons why many players had massive problems with making the game even work upon release), but no further details have been shared yet.
All those games will be showcased at the Bethesda Game Days event (it will take place on the 29th and 30th of March at PAX East), so be sure to visit GameFragger in the coming days (and beyond).
Announcing DOOM Eternal, the direct sequel to the award-winning and best-selling DOOM (2016). Developed by id Software, DOOM Eternal brings the ultimate combination of speed and power with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.
DOOM: Eternal is coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
