Ubisoft has proudly announced that two award-winning composers recently teamed-up to score
Far Cry: New Dawn, the upcoming
Far Cry 5 narrative sequel. The OST was created by Tyler Bates (
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Deadpool 2) and John Swihart (
Switched at Birth, Pretty Tough).
The French publisher has also released a brand new video interview with the voice actors who brought the spin-off's villains to life – Greg Bryk (The Father), Leslie Miller (Lou), and Cara Ricketts (Mickey). Although the actresses have never played
Far Cry characters before, Bryk is a well-known fella in the series' community, as he brilliantly portrayed the main antagonist (antihero?) in last year's
Far Cry 5.
According to Ubisoft, Mickey is the head of the Highwaymen group, while Lou will stop at nothing to stay at the top of the food chain. The player won't be alone in their fight against The Twins, as Ubisoft will give them a chance to spark the rebellion in co-op with a friend and side characters from
Far Cry 5 who will also return to help them out, including the charismatic (and armed as always) Pastor Jerome.
Take a look:
Dive into a transformed vibrant post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana, 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. Join fellow survivors and lead the fight against the dangerous new threat the Highwaymen, and their ruthless leaders The Twins, as they seek to take over the last remaining resources.
Far Cry: New Dawn launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 15, 2019.
