Last week, a ton of information about the next Far Cry video game leaked online via the PlayStation Store — as you can see here. Not too long after, Ubisoft officially revealed Far Cry 6 during their online conference, Ubisoft Forward. They also showed off Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay and Watch Dogs: Legion gameplay during the livestream.
Unfortunately for Far Cry fans, though, Ubisoft stopped short of revealed any actual Far Cry 6 gameplay. Rather, the Far Cry 6 segment consisted of a cinematic trailer, albeit a pretty great one, and a snazzy intro sequence. Anticipating Far Cry fans will simply have to wait a little while longer for actual Far Cry 6 gameplay — of course, we will cover it as and when it drops.
In the meantime, we've got what is essentially our first glimpse at actual gameplay in the form of some high-resolution screenshots. Some of the screenshots feature a first-person view while others provide us with an idea of what the actual in-game graphics will look like. It certainly looks like Far Cry 6 will be the most visually impressive installment to date.
You can check out the seven new screenshots for yourself below (via Gematsu):
