The second DLC drop for Far Cry 5 will release in July taking players far beyond Hope County and all the way to Mars, where they'll battle alien arachnids as family-man-turned-fighter-pilot Nick Rye. Hurk's along for the ride, too, and together they'll fight to restore humanity's last line of defense: an AI named ANNE. The Far Cry 5 DLC Lost on Mars will arrive on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Tuesday, July 17.
Introducing a new Martian open world to explore, Lost On Mars gives players access to plenty of funky sci-fi survival gear, including jetpacks and alien weaponry such as the single-shot Blaster of Disaster, the Hellfire (which fires 15 bouncing laser balls), and the Morphinator, a fearsome weapon that turns your enemies into explosive, arachnid-attracting cows. And in addition to the new downloadable adventure, Martian assets are now available free to all Far Cry 5 players for creating maps in Far Cry Arcade.
Lost On Mars is available either as a standalone purchase or as part of the Season Pass (which also includes the already-released Hours of Darkness, as well as Dead Living Zombies, which will be released in August alongside some additional asset drops) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Far Cry 5: Lost on Mars will be available for $10, or as part of the $30 season pass or the $90 Gold Edition of the game.
