The wait is almost over, as Ubisoft Montreal's
Far Cry: New Dawn launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow, giving all fans of
Far Cry 5 a chance to return to Hope County.
New Dawn is set 17 years after the nuclear catastrophe we've seen in last year's title. During that period, the world has changed, with The Twins replacing The Father as the main villains of the more bizarre than ever story.
Ubisoft has released an all-new gameplay launch trailer for
New Dawn, giving us an opportunity to take a closer look at the villainous Lou and Mickey. In the game, those ruthless sisters are leading The Highwaymen, a group of psychos who seek to take over the last remaining resources of the ruined, radioactive world. To stop them and save the rebounding community, you will team-up not only with The Father, but also The Project at Eden's Gate cultists, who will join your fight against this new threat.
Considering that next-gen machines are reportedly scheduled to his stores in mid-2020,
New Dawn might be the last entry in the acclaimed
Far Cry series that launched for PS4 and XO. Check it out:
Dive into a transformed vibrant post-apocalyptic Hope County, Montana, 17 years after a global nuclear catastrophe. Join fellow survivors and lead the fight against the dangerous new threat the Highwaymen, and their ruthless leaders The Twins, as they seek to take over the last remaining resources.
