Epic Games continues to expand Fortnite’s multiverse of collaborations with the long-awaited arrival of Marvel’s Fantastic Four. As part of a crossover celebrating their upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, skins for Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing will hit the Fortnite Item Shop on July 25th, 2025.

The timing coincides with the theatrical release of Fantastic Four: First Steps, marking the superhero team’s introduction into the MCU. While Marvel has had a consistent presence in Fortnite through previous events and battle passes, this is the first time the Fantastic Four have been featured as playable skins.

What’s Included in the Fantastic Four Set?

Each member of the Fantastic Four arrives with exclusive features and cosmetic bonuses:

Johnny Storm (Human Torch): Includes a built-in Flame On! Emote that transforms him into his fiery alternate style.

Ben Grimm (The Thing): Comes with an alt style for his rock-covered appearance.

Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic): Features the Fantastic Fists Pickaxe and Fantastic Calculations built-in Emote.

Susan Storm (Invisible Woman): Includes a built-in Psionic Orbs Pickaxe.

These skins are not just cosmetic but also come packed with themed gear and animations tailored to each character’s powers.

Early Access via Fantastic Four Cup July 23rd

Players can get a head start by competing in the Fantastic Four Cup on July 23rd, which gives top-performing squads early access to the skins before they hit the Item Shop. Additional tournament rewards include:

It’s Clobberin’ Time Spray: Earned by surviving 60 minutes cumulatively during the event.

Flame On Emoticon: Unlocked after 120 minutes of total in-match survival.

For those wanting to win the full bundle for free, here is the system for the tournament:

The Fantastic Four’s absence during major Marvel-Fortnite crossovers like Absolute Doom was surprising to many fans especially given Doctor Doom’s prominent role. Their addition this week finally fills that gap and capitalizes on the buzz around their cinematic reboot.

With the MCU’s Fantastic Four: First Steps arriving at the same time, make sure to go hit your local theater and watch it too!
