Today is Tuesday which is typically when Fortnite Battle Royale players receive their new set of weekly challenges. Except today came and there were no new challenges - we're still on week 4.

According to Epic Games, the season 4 week 5 challenges will go live on Thursday, May 31. This was actually intentional as the developer plans to push back weekly challenge updates to Thursdays.

Although the announcement was made on Twitter, Epic actually took to Reddit to further explain the decision.

Starting this week with the v4.3 update we will be updating the Weekly Challenges on every Thursday rather than with the update for the remainder of Season 4. Our goal is to reduce the risk of new weekly challenges being put in a bad state if the weekly rollover is delayed.

Note: The countdown timer for the Week 5 challenges will read 0 seconds until Thursday, May 31 when they become playable

Fortnite update 4.3 will release tomorrow with the week 5 challenges going live on Thursday.  On the bright side, the challenges have already leaked, so you can get a sneak peek here.
