The previously leaked
Fortnite Battle Royale Starter Pack now has a rumored release date of March 27. According to the leak from PS Communities, the Starter Pack will be available through April 1.
Although
Fortnite Battle Royale is completely free to download and play, the game offers in-game transactions for cosmetics and such. The Starter Pack for PlayStation is said to include 600 V-Bucks, a Rogue Agent Outfit and Catalyst Back Bling for the Battle Royale mode.- all for just $4.99.
For those unfamiliar, V-Bucks are the in-game currency that can be spent in both the Battle Royale PVP mode and the Save the World PvE campaign; you can purchase new customization items in Battle Royale or the Llama Pinata card packs in Save the World which contain weapon, trap, and gadget schematics as well as new Heroes and more.
It's worth mentioning that this PlayStation Starter Pack has not yet officially been announced by either Epic Games or Sony. Should it release on Tuesday, though, it would be a pretty good value for newcomers, especially considering the usual price for items in
Fortnite.
