Following the conclusion to
Fortnite's eight season (the map's volcano erupting and demolishing Retail Row and Tilted Towers), Epic Games have released the very first teaser for the upcoming ninth.
Going by many of the previous seasons, this new teaser will likely be the first in a series. Epic Games will likely release multiple posters, much like this one, which will hint at the future of the battle-royale. Note that wording though, as along with the poster came the caption
"The Future is Unknown." At the moment, that's a very fitting caption.
The poster features a person garbed in armour and a futuristic mask which is emblazoned with devil horns. The strange language on the figure's chest lends itself to the idea that
Fortnite will be taking a step into this unknown future which the caption hinted at. Of course, the tweet (
@FortniteGame) also reminds players that the ninth season will begin on May 9th (which is just three days away).
