Fortnite's item shop updated this evening, bringing a new set of cosmetics to the game. This evening's update brought the highly anticipated Bandolier Outfit along with the Stop Axe Pickaxe.
The Bandolier was one of the outfits leaked recently and features a shirtless, muscular male seemingly crossed between Rambo and Mr. T. The skin is Epic (purple) and costs 1,500 V-Bucks. The promotional image for the Bandolier Outfit also features the recently added Mire Monster, which was available for a whopping 2,000 V-Bucks.
Also available for the first time in the item shop is the Stop Axe pickaxe. This Rare (blue) harvesting tool costs 800 V-Bucks and looks like a stop sign from Pleasant Park was ripped out of the ground and shaped into an ax.
Other items available in the store update include Death Valley (harvesting tool, 1500), Midnight Ops (outfit, 1200), Brawler (outfit, 1200), Hootenanny (emote, 500), Mainframe (glider, 500), and Slow Clap (emote, 200).
The Bandolier is easily considered one of the best outfits of the season, while I, personally, think the Stop Axe is pretty fun (and actually quite affordable). Needless to say, purchasing both items will cost you around $25. You have exactly one day to purchase these two featured items before they are gone (they probably will return in the future, though it's unknown when).
