FORTNITE Just Added Will Smith's BAD BOYS Character In One Of Its Weirdest Crossovers Yet

While the Bad Boys franchise is definitely popular, it's fair to say we never expected to see this! Fortnite has added Will Smith's Mike Lowrey to the game, and you can find all the details on that here...

In a very unexpected turn of events, Fortnite has just added Bad Boys' iconic Mike Lowrey (Will Smith's character) from the hit movie franchise. The Bad Boys x Fortnight crossover was announced this past weekend, and he's already available to purchase in the Fortnight Item Shop.

That includes the beloved Detective's Duffle Back Bling, while "The Loose Cannon" set also comes bundled with Lowrey's dual-wielding pickaxe known as the Loose Cannon Cutters. Alas, he will not be joined by his best friend and police partner Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence), so any hopes you had for a badass team-up have already been dashed. Still, this is pretty cool!

It's something of an odd addition to the game when Season 7 of Fortnite Chapter 2 is focused on aliens, but Will Smith has battled his fair share of them on the big screen over the years (there's a chance this was the only franchise of his the game's developers were able to acquire, though we're still a little surprised they didn't somehow find a way to get Agent J from Men in Black).

"Mike Lowrey is one cool customer," reads Epic Games' announcement. "Whether he's involved in explosive action or a high-speed chase, he's always undeniably smooth."

We're sure a lot of gamers will have fun being able to race into action as Mike, and it will be interesting seeing if any other relatively obscure movie characters join him in the weeks to come.

Keep checking back here for Fortnite updates!
