Fortnite's tenth season has arrived and, in line with our suspicions based on
the many teaser images that Epic Games released, has turned the battle royale into a timey wimey mess. Memorable locations and skins from previous seasons have made a return in all-new ways. As well as the return of some classic features, there's also some new ones — like enormous mechs that can house two players.
Epic Games has released a new trailer which provides an overview of the currently active season. It explains and shows off all the new and exciting stuff that
"Season X" has to offer. You can check it out for yourself below (via
Fortnite's official YouTube channel).
The battle pass will feature new, dimensional twists on iconic skins — like Drift and Ragnarok. This new trailer has also revealed the skin that players can unlock by levelling up to tier 100. It's called
"Ultima Knight," and it's just as over-the-top badass as its name.
As mentioned, some fan-favourite locations of
Fortnite's past are back but some of them have been given a bit of a twist. For example, it appears that one location won't allow players to build structures at all. The narrator of the trailer also teases that
"the world you play today, might now be the world you'll play tomorrow," meaning that the battle royale's map will shift around on a daily basis.
