Epic Games' hit cross-platform battle royale shooter, Fortnite, is currently underway with its Season 5 Battle Pass.  Week 3 was introduced in last night's weekly maintenance, and these are the new challenges:

Free Challenges:

  • Deal Damage to opponents in a single match [0/500]
  • Use a Launchpad [0/1]
  • Follow the treasuer map found in Flush Factory (HARD)
Battle Pass Challenges:
  • Search Chests in Fatal Fields [0/7]
  • Shoot a Clay Pigeon at different locations [0/5]
  • Eliminate opponents in Haunted Hills [0/5]
  • Explosive Weapon Eliminations [0/3] (HARD)
From a post on the Fortnite subreddit, user 'thesquantingdog,' who frequently posts visual map cheatsheets for every weeks' challenges, posted a new one for week 3 already (shown below):

The Battle Pass for Fortnite cost $9.99 USD and each season lasts approximately 2 months each, and rewards players for experiences gained and challenges completed during each season.  Battle Passes reach a maximum level of 100, where players usually obtain a legendary cosmetic skin, but along the way they complete it for many other cosmetics that can be used in the game, valuing a total much higher than the cost of the Battle Pass.

Fortnite is a free-to-play shooter that is a cross-platform on PC (Mac & Windows), mobile devices (Apple iOS and Android), Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
