Fortnite Battle Royale's competitive experience Solo Showdown Limited Time Mode has returned for the weekend, offering players a weekend-long competition with the reward of free V-Bucks.
Solo Showdown is its own queue but essentially works like a standard Solo mode game and does not change any of the core
Battle Royale gameplay. However, you are rewarded points for your final placement in the match as well as for opponent eliminations.
Unlike other LTMs, Solo Showdown will not change core gameplay of the current Solo mode. Instead, you will be placed against other self-selected competitors making this the ultimate test of survival.
100 points will be granted to the first place winner, while lower placements earn fewer points (the lowest is 25 points for a finish between 76-100 place). In addition to placement points, you are rewarded with 6 points for each enemy you eliminate. Full rules for Solo Showdown, including the scoring guide,
can be found here.
Only your first 25 matches in Solo Showdown LTM will count towards your score. Eligible, top performers will not only earn free V-Bucks, but may also receive invitations to future Summer Skirmish events. The tournament rewards are as follows:
-
1st Place: 50,000 V-Bucks
-
2nd - 4th Place: 25,000 V-Bucks
-
5th – 50th Place: 13,500 V-Bucks
-
51st – 100th Place: 7,500 V-Bucks
Fortnite's Solo Showdown LTM is currently live and ends on July 30 at 10:00am ET.
