Fortnite has become a cultural phenomenon. The popular battle royale game from developer Epic Games has not just seeped its way into classrooms, but many sports locker rooms as well. Players celebrating accomplishments on the field or on the court by performing their favorite
Fortnite emote or dance have become the norm now, which makes sense considering that most of today’s athletes have probably grown up playing video games.
But the NFL is taking things a bit further, introducing a new partnership with Epic Games that may finally help shed the NFL of its “No Fun League” nickname. Announced today, NFL themed Outfits are coming to
Fortnite this week.
Starting Friday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET, you’ll be able to purchase NFL themed Outfits from the
Fortnite shop. All 32 NFL teams will be represented within the game. Plus, an additional unique
Fortnite team uniform will also be specially created. The Outfits will also allow you to choose any number from 1-99 to place on your jersey.
Pricing for these new NFL themed Outfits has not been announced yet, but
Fortnite items in the shop tend to come with a pretty hefty price tag.
