Today is a good day for Fortnite and content creators. Epic Games just shared a bunch of information for fans and/or players to dive in and share their opinions. We got version 5.3, weapon balances, a new Rift-To-Go item and now a Limited Time Mode.
Limited Time Modes (LTM) are a spin on the classic Fortnite battle royale gameplay. They offer different takes and obstacles, for instance, the Sniper Shootout is only playable with Snipers. Players go head to head with Sniper Rifles only to determine the victor. This new LTM, New Score Royale, is telling players to "collect points to claim Victory Royale. Whoever has the most points at the end of the match wins."

Earn points by collecting coins, opening loot containers and eliminating other players. The first to cross the High Score threshold wins the Victory Royale!

Early game Storm circles are larger and the Storms move in more slowly, giving players more time to spread out and search for loot.

Late game Storms move in fast! Earn enough points for the Victory Royale before they close in.
This chart explains how many points players will get when they accomplish the set task. The more points one gets from doing these things, the higher the chance to win the LTM.
