The
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds community on Xbox One has now grown to over 4 million players, the developer announced today.
The new milestone of four million comes less than two weeks after Xbox announced three million players back on January 12 in the game's first month. Adding another million sales in just 13 days is an impressive feat.
Although the game didn't have the smoothest of launches in the the Xbox Preview Program, a solid commitment from the developers has quickly turned it around. This week, the sixth content update for the game was released, delivering numerous gameplay, optimization, and bug fixes.
To show their appreciation for PUBG's early adopters and the community's support, they are rewarding players with 30,000 Battle Points to purchase cosmetic crates in the game. Anyone who has purchased or purchases PUBG on Xbox One and has created a character before January 31 at 12AM PST will receive this bonus. Bonus Battle Points will be delivered and appear directly in players BP accounts (right below their gamertag) after February 1, 2018 at 12AM PT.
While PC and Xbox One players are enjoying the 100-player battle royale game, PlayStation gamers are eager to hear about a PS4 version. Unfortunately, it
doesn't sound like we'll be getting a PS4 version any time soon.
