According to a report from Venture Beat, Twitch accumulated 9.36 billion hours of watched content in 2018. That's up 25% from 2017.

Their biggest competitor, YouTube Gaming, accumulated only 2.3 billion hours of watched content, roughly 25% of what Twitch amassed.  However, the key stat here is that YouTube Gaming's watched hours were up 104% from what they achieved in 2017.  Obviously, if this trend continues, they'll soon be neck-and-neck with Twitch.

Coming in third, was Microsoft's Mixer, which accumulated just 168 million hours of watched content.  Still, that figure represents a 179% percent increase over Mixer's 2017 tally.  The Xbox streaming platform launched in 2016.

Below, you can also check out Venture Beat's list of the top watches games across all 3 streaming platforms.
