Bethesda’s Vice President Pete Hines might find the whole situation "difficult", but it doesn't change the fact that Bethesda is the only publisher that at least tries to respond to Walmart's leak that changed almost everybody's plans for E3 two days ago, ruining some of Ubisoft, Square Enix, Sony, Microsoft, and Bethesda's E3 2018 surprises for sure. At least the home of Fallout and Doom embraces the terrible situation.

Rage's official twitter account had immediately reacted to the shop's leak and posted an upgraded version of the cover adding some important notes like "missing age rating" and changing the "puny” font of the placeholder. Bethesda keeps striking while the iron is hot, releasing a bunch of three brand new, at first (and second and also third) glance unrelated pictures on their official Twitter account.

Some fans think that we should expect the Rage 2 reveal on May 14th as Big Ben's clock is set to 5:14, which is 5/14. The second picture features a space rocket and the third showcases a street with a lot of pink. The same color was used by Rage's Twitter account to improve the leaked placeholder, but remember that it's obviously just a coincident. In more important news, Bethesda's apparent teasing of Rage 2 basically also confirms that the rest of Walmart's leaked games are also real, including the next chapters of the Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Gears of War, Just Cause, and Borderlands series.
