Over 13 Minutes Of Action-Packed RAGE 2 Gameplay Footage Have Been Released

Avalanche Studios and id Software’s RAGE 2 is set in 2165, thirty years after the events of the first game. That big time gap between RAGE and its upcoming sequel allows the developers to give free rein to their imagination, as the wasteland that used to be a lifeless, brown, and overall uninteresting place has changed, teaming with colors and featuring blooming plants, mutated beasts, and forgotten cities.

RAGE 2 will allow you to explore this colorful westland as Walker, who sets out to take down the villainous Authority once and for all. He’s the last of his kind, equipped with the tech and special abilities that have turned into a myth in the game's universe that's powered by Avalanche's own Apex Engine that debuted in last month's Just Cause 4, giving you a chance to wreak havoc in smooth 60FPS.

According to the developers, the sandbox extravaganza won't be trying to experiment with the already established (and working well) technology, and will focus on delivering a mesmerizing gameplay experience instead.
