Void Interactive's tactical first-person shooter Ready or Not is now available on consoles. Previously released for PC in 2023, the game is now playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
A spiritual successor to Sierra Entertainment's SWAT series, Ready or Not puts players in the shoes of an elite SWAT commander tasked with bringing order to a chaotic and corrupted city. Lead a team of highly-trained SWAT officers through 18 high-risk missions inspired by current events against Los Sueňos’ ruthless criminal element.
The missions are playable either single-player or through online co-op that supports a total of five players. The game also supports crossplay across consoles and PC.
Ready or Not received favorable reviews upon release on PC. The game has been praised as a realistic tactical sim with strategic gameplay likened to the early days of Rainbow Six. Unfortunately, VOID Interactive came under a bit of heat in recent weeks for toning down some of the graphical violence and mature visuals due to stricter publishing rules on consoles. This resulted in players review bombing the game, which is probably why the scores are a bit lower now than at the initial launch. However, VOID Interactive has since clarified that changes wer eonly made "where absolutely required" and that "the game’s tone, atmosphere, and graphical impact remain intact."

Ready or Not is available physically and digitally for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The base game and Day One Edition, which include multiple weapon pre-order bonuses, are available for $49.99. The Deluxe Edition is also available for $49.99 and includes the following items:
