After months of waiting,
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be released this Friday, giving you a unique opportunity to save Washington DC from the ultimate fall. The highly anticipated looter shooter takes place seven months after the deadly virus was released in New York and ruined the once-great city.
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2's Creative Director Julian Gerighty has recently visited the Tokyo-based Kojima Productions to see progress on
Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima's first major project in the post-
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain world. According to Julian Gerighty,
Stranding is a "
mind-blowing" and "
timeless" project, which definitely bodes well for the title, as the Ubisoft Massive team is an inanely skilled one, especially when it comes to building their virtual, detailed worlds.
While we all would love to learn more about
Stranding, it looks like we will have to wait for the official announcement of its release date for quite some time, as "
Death Stranding has been slightly out of its initial plan, but not much delayed," Kojima revealed in a recent interview with J-WAVE NEWS.
Considering that Sony will skip this year's E3, there's a rather big chance
Stranding's release date will be revealed at one of the Japanese company's own events, maybe even 2019's PlayStation Experience.
Washington D.C. is on the brink of collapse. Lawlessness and instability threaten our society, and rumors of a coup in the capitol are only amplifying the chaos. You are a member of the Division, an elite group of civilian agents charged with being the last line of defense. With DC at risk, it's time to gear up and use your unique skills to take on this new threat.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be available March 15th, 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
