Considering that BioWare's
Anthem is the worst-reviewed major title in the studio's history, it shouldn't but surprising that Ubisoft is releasing new trailers and information on
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 on a daily basis. Today, the French publisher has shared an all-new video, putting the spotlight on the intense looter shooter's upcoming open beta, the last round of public tests before the game's release.
The game's third beta (technical and private ones were hosted in January and February, respectively) will be running from March 1st through March 4th. In the beta, you’ll be able to play three Main Missions solo or co-op, prove your skills in PVP, experience the endgame, and beat five optional Side Missions, available for everyone who prefers to branch out from the main storyline: Empire Autumn Hotel, MLK Library Hostages, National Archives, Department of Justice, and Bureau Headquarters.
This upcoming beta phase is not under an NDA, so Ubisoft encourages everyone to capture and share their experiences with the community. In the last couple of days, we've learned a lot more about the highly anticipated MMOTPS with strong RPG mechanics, and it looks like Massive won't repeat their past mistakes and will launch
The Division 2 as a finished, polished, and tested product. Check it out:
Washington D.C. is on the brink of collapse. Lawlessness and instability threaten our society, and rumors of a coup in the capitol are only amplifying the chaos. All active Division agents are desperately needed to save the city before it's too late. You are a member of the Division, an elite group of civilian agents charged with being the last line of defense. With DC at risk, it's time to gear up and use your unique skills to take on this new threat.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be available March 15th, 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
