BATTLEFIELD V Latest Dev Diary Focuses On The Story Mode As The German Soldier You'll Play As Is "Not A Nazi"

While the solo campaigns of the Battlefield series are usually inferior to those presented in the Call of Duty franchise, Treyarch decided to abandon single-player fans this year as Black Ops IV doesn't feature a solo competent. DICE has an opportunity to prove players they don't need Call of Duty to experience a great single-player mode as the upcoming Battlefield V will feature a proper single-player story.

The campaign, titled War Stories, will give you a chance to experience human drama set against a massive conflict. According to DICE, each War Story will take players to unexpected fronts, such as the scorching North African desert and the hostile Norwegian mountains. The Last Tiger episode, which will serve as an ending of Battlefield V's campaign, will launch roughly two weeks after the release.

In a recent interview with Eurogamer, franchise design director Daniel Berlin said The Last Tiger's story won't feature the Nazi point of view. According to Berlin, the aforementioned soldier is not a Nazi, as the War Story will depict "the German perspective".
