EA has released an updated roadmap for add-on content coming to Star Wars: Battlefront 2. While players have seen some of the Clone Wars content arrive in recent updates, it seems the bulk of it will arrive in early 2019. The updated roadmap lays out exactly what fans will be getting for the remainder of this year and into the beginning months of 2019.
Arriving in October will be General Grievous with a default Jedi Hunter Appearance. Available the same day will be the additional Battle-Damaged Appearance, which can be unlocked with Credits or Crystals. October will also see some changes to Hero Heatlh Star Cards, giving every hero the ability to quip one of these.
In November, Obi-Wan Kenobi will join the battlefront with his Jedi Master Appearance. Arriving at the same time will be Obi Wan's Robed Appearance along with another to-be-announced Appearance for General Grievous. November will also see a small update on Geonosis, with the addition of native Geonosians as part of its living world (non-interactive environment).
The November update will be the last of 2018 as EA will then turn its attention towards preparing the Clone Wars content in early 2019. Things will pick back up in January with the release of Count Dooku plus an additional Appearance for the Separatist leader. Obi-Wan will receive a General Kenobi Appearance, while the Coruscant Guard clone trooper Appearances will join the Galactic Republic.
In February, Anakin Skywalker, an additional Appearance, and the 501st Legion clone trooper Appearances will arrive. EA also teased that a new "large-scale, non-linear game mode featuring capture points and capital ship takedowns" will release in February.
Keep in mind, this is just a roadmap and nothing is actually set in stone. EA says that more content and features are still to be confirmed, and acknowledges that content might be "moved around, added, or changed." So stay tuned for any future roadmap releases.
