World War Z was announced during last year’s The Game Awards. The game is being developed by Saber Interactive, the studio whose work includes projects like Inversion, Timeshift and Quake Champions. World War Z is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. World War Z will be a four-player cooperative action game focusing on survivor stories and missions around the globe.

The zombie game will give you a chance to make tactical use of traps, barriers and the environment to slow down the relentless hordes of the undead, then team up with friends to stay alive by unleashing a storm of firepower from all directions with a variety of heavy-hitting weapons and explosives. “World War Z is a name synonymous with heart-pounding fear and action, and we’re excited to finally capture that energy in a fast-paced and gruesome experience crafted specifically for modern consoles and PC,” said Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch in a statement.

The latest World War Z’s gameplay trailer highlights one of the game’s locations, Moscow. The video shows a group of survivors setting up mounted machine guns and building barricades as they face swarms of enemies. World War Z is currently expected to be ready for release in 2018. Take a look:
