Hero Defense, an indie title that is sure to hark back to old Used Map Settings games from Warcraft 3, was released this week by game developers Happy Tuesday.  It's certainly innovative in what it does as it blends a few very popular genres together; to the core, the game is a tower defense, and yet there is still something that MOBA lovers, and RPG players will attach themselves to, as the constant character controlling and upgrading unique skills and weapons lends itself to those other genres.

There are five equally useful and different characters the player handles, all which can be controlled simultaneously, and none of which are stuck in a position after placed, unlike traditional Tower Defense games.  Hordes of undead will zip through each map, trying to reach the end, which is where the player must their heroes across the map to kill them all.

Here's a trailer from their Official Youtube Page:

Hero Defense has been in Early Access for PC for the last couple years, but was officially released August 16th, 2018 for Windows PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One and is regularly priced at $29.99 USD (currently has sales for $23.99 on both PC [via Steam] and Xbox One, and $26.99 for PS4).
