DYING LIGHT 2: Prepare To Chop Off Three Million Limbs In The Latest Free Event "Bloody Summer"

Those who love the carnage in Dying Light 2: Stay Human will be excited to learn that the brand new free event Bloody Summer introduces fun ragdoll effects, extreme and deadly visuals, and new rewards.

There are video games that toe the line between child and adult entertainment and then there are titles that are just downright graphic and bloody. Dying Light 2: Stay Human belongs in the latter category, without question.

The game is so filled with fun and deadly violence that a new free in-game event has been released that somehow manages to even up the ante. If the title "Bloody Summer" doesn't give it away, there's not much else that can.

Outside of obvious perks such as earning more powerful weapons, there are a lot of fun effects added as well. There is a much higher chance to chop off limbs, slice your enemies clean in half, or even pulverize them - not to mention ragdoll effects and hit animations being upped with Hypermode active.

Dying Light 2 Debuts Free 'Bloody Summer' In-Game Event
 

Earn powerful weapons and gear through in-game carnage in Wrocław, Poland
 

— June 30, 2022 — The latest free event for Dying Light 2 Stay Human is here and amps up the in-game carnage. During the Bloody Summer event, the chance of cutting off limbs, slicing your enemies in half, or simply pulverizing them will be greatly increased. Moreover, some of the Hypermode rules will also apply, with more intense ragdoll effects and hit reactions. The Bloody Summer event is also filled with awesome rewards:
 

● Chop off 1 limb to obtain a Harper’s Token, redeemable with Harper, the Nightrunner character introduced with "Chapter 1: In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner" seasonal content
 

● Cut off 300 limbs to obtain a Cutting Edge axe.
 

● Together with the entire community, slice off 3,000,000 limbs to obtain the Nightrunner Outfit.
