Control is one of the most promising games that will be released next year. Last week, we had a chance to see an intriguing boss fight between Jesse Faden, the director of the Federal Bureau of Control (which basically is a clandestine government agency tasked with studying and containing supernatural phenomena in the Control universe) and an employee who possess very similar, deadly gravity powers.
The creators of Alan Wake and Max Payne have revealed new details about their next big thing. First of all, Control will give us an opportunity to meet the former director of the Bureau who will be played by James McCaffrey. After watching the video below you may recognize his voice as he played the titular hero in the Max Payne series, even the controversial Rockstar's take on the character from 2012.
The main protagonist of Control is portrayed by Jesse Faden who also played a pivotal role in Remedy's previous title, Quantum Break as Beth Wilder, a member of the villainous Monarch Solutions’ security detail. 505 Games, the new publisher of Remedy's productions after the termination of the studio's deal with Microsoft, has released a brand new developer diary that focuses on Control's cast:
After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control. This supernatural third-person action-adventure game will challenge you to master a combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments, while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.
Control is coming to PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2019.
