Death Stranding will finally be releasing for the PlayStation 4 in just over a week's time. The highly antcipated game is the newest project from renowned game director Hideo Kojima — who's best known for the
Metal Gear Solid franchise.
Since the game was announced back in 2016,
Death Stranding was considered a PlayStation exclusive. However, mentions of the game being strictly for the PlayStation 4 were stifled back in August —
as you can see here. Speculation since sparked that a PC release would occur some time after the game's initial launch on the PlayStation 4.
Kojima Productions has now tweeted out (
@KojiPro2015_EN) confirmation that
Death Stranding will eventually arrive on the PC. While the studio hasn't provided an exact release date for the PC version of the title, they do mention early summer 2020 as a release window. The PC release will reportedly be published by 505 Games.
