Death Stranding was announced during E3 of 2016 and since then has been regarded as one of the PlayStation 4's upcoming and highly anticipated exclusives. However, based on a recent change to
PlayStation's official website, it may no longer be one.
Sony Interactive Entertainment recently updated their website. The page which lists the PlayStation 4's many exclusives perviously included
Death Stranding but, since the update, it's no longer there. There seems to be no reason why the upcoming game would be removed from the page unless it's no longer considered a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
While this could mean that
Death Stranding will make its way onto the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, or even Google Stadia; it likely means that the game will eventually make its way onto the PC — following its PlayStation 4 debut.
Back in May, there were reports that
Death Stranding won't be exclusive to the Sony console and will make its way onto PC in 2020. This was claimed by an Italian Games Journalist by the name of Antonia Fucito.
Though Fucito was privy to the game's release date, a day prior to it being officially revealed, his claim wasn't given much thought back then. Now, however, there's the aforementioned change to PlayStation's website to back his assertion.
