Back in 2008, a massive open world The Flash video game revolving around Wally West was in the works which would have seen that version of the Scarlet Speedster going up against the likes of Zoom, Gorilla Grodd, and Captain Cold. Sadly, it never happened, and the video below takes a fascinating in-depth look at why it fell apart and what we could have expected from a title takes us to Central City.

This makes for fascinating viewing, though it's upsetting for a number of reasons. For starters, a lot of hard working people lost their jobs, but the fact that we were robbed of the opportunity to play what looks like a genuinely amazing game is also heartbreaking. Anyway, the video below is well worth a watch, so check it out and then let us know your thoughts on The Flash in the comments section.
