MEGA MAN 11 Introduces Us To Blast Man As One Of The Game's New Robot Masters

Mega Man 11 will be coming out on the 2nd of October so we still have a long way to go before we get to play it. In the mean time, Capcom has been sharing some new details about the game's development, sharing concept art, and even introducing us to some of the game's new Robot Masters.

Today, CapcomUnity has shared new details about Blast Man—one of the eight Robot Masters that Mega Man will be fighting in Mega Man 11—as well as information about his respective stage, and even gave us a glimpse of two new game modes.

Blast Man is a Robot Master that's into theatrics, as well as loving explosions—like his name appropriately suggests—so expect to find a level full of explosive hazards. His level is the ruined remains of an old theme park and movie studio hybrid where Blast Man has proclaimed himself as the star of the "Blast Man Adventure", so Mega Man will have to make use of his new Power Gear in order to survive it.

Mega Man 11 is also introducing Time Attack and Balloon Atack modes that will give the game even more replay value. In Time Attack, players will run through the Robot Masters' stages as quickly as possible and then show off their time on the game's leaderboards.

Balloon Attack is an even more interesting mode that has players going through the Robot Master stages where all enemies have been removed and replaced with balloons. Blue balloons have to be burst by either shooting at them or simply running into them. Blue balloons players miss, as well as red balloons players burst will add to the timer, so it isn't just about running through the stage and missing balloons to get a better time.
