Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has been in development for quite some time now, since the project was successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign, but the game officially went Gold last week; meaning that everything is ready and all we have to do now is wait until the game releases.

The game was initially scheduled to release on the 28th of August, but the developer saw fit to push back the date for a while longer in order to deliver an even better product for the players; who will be able to enjoy Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom when it releases for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam on the 4th of December.

Today, FDG Entertainment has shared a post on their Twitter account, promising that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will offer a smooth experience for Nintendo Switch players. With the game taking full advantage of the console's hardware as they provide gamers with a game locked at 60fps that supports the Switch's HD Rumble feature, and will allow for video capture at full native resolution of 1090p/720p. Oh, and it is also compatible with the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. You know, just in case.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam on the 4th of December.
