The official Japan's Best YouTube channel has uploaded a new 3.30-minute gameplay trailer for the upcoming mystery action visual novel Murder Detective: Jack the Ripper. The game is developed by Nippon Ichi Software and will hit the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 25.
The promotional video presents the story of the visual novel, its main characters and the main mystery of the title, Jack the Ripper himself. The player will control Arthur, a detective who can see this phantom called Jack the Ripper who acts as his partner and making difficult for Arthur to solve the serial case.
The choices players make will lead them to the path of good or evil, every decision changes the course of the game. Players can choose to follow the detective path or follow the Murderer route. The visual novel does not have a North American release date yet.
