Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is the next entry in the
Naruto video game series that will see players treaming up with their friends in order to defeat their opponents. Developed and published by Bandai Namco, Shinobi Striker borrows a lot from titles in the
Naruto Shippuuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm series while also bringing new things to the table.
Being a 4v4 team battle game,
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker focuses mainly on, well, team battles by introducing a wide variety of new game modes that will have players, as well as their teammates, thinking strategically in order to figure out the best possible outcome against their opponents.
The latest trailer for the game focuses on what may be the most interesting mode yet: Barrier Battle. In this new mode, teams will be separated in offensive and defensive teams. Offence need to protect the seal and the Boss while attempting to lift the stakes in order to remove the barrier. To lift the stake, players need to stand on it while their teammates protect them. Only two stakes need to be lifted to remove the barrier. Once the barrier has been lifted, the Boss is freed and the whole team will have to fight it. If players take too long to defeat the Boss, the barrier will go up again.
Defence will have the whole team fighting their opponents in order to protect the stakes from being lifted. If they fail to do this, the barrier will go down and the Boss will be vulnerable. The team will have to make use of all their skills in order to keep the Boss safe.
