Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid released back in March for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The fighting game recently got its first batch of Season Pass content.
Along with that update came some general improvements to the game as well as one in particular that players have been clamouring for since the game's release (via
Comicbook.com). Up until now, the game has only included random matchmaking. However, now nWay have added a way for players to play directly with their friends.
Using the new
"Direct Match" option, players can now compete in a battle against a specific user. This is opposed to the general way of playing wherein you'd be pitted against a random online opponent who could hail from other platforms given that the
Power Ranger: Battle For The Grid now makes use of crossplay.
Speaking of crossplay, another notable fix that came with the recent update improved upon that. The experience of competing against a player from another platform should now run more smoothly.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
