Sega's Jet Set Radio still has a small, but vocal group of fans who would love to see a sequel. Sadly, it's not happening anytime soon, but you can see a working prototype after the jump!

Jet Set Radio originally debuted on Dreamcast and was later released on the first Xbox. The last version of the game was the HD edition for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows. Sadly, Sega is not planning to release the continuation anytime soon. From the prototype video published by Dinosaurum Games we learned that the developer indeed tried to persuade the series' owner, but ultimately failed.

Dinosaurum received Sony's permission to negotiate with Sega, but the publisher wasn't interested in continuing the series. The Jet Set Radio Evolution team confirmed that it would be the first step in resurrecting the franchise, but the project is currently in "limbo".
