Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is a sidescroller beat 'em up game developed by Pocket Trap and published by Modus Games coming for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam
today.
Deemed as the sequel to
Ninjin—which is a game by the same developer released for iOS in 2013—
Ninjin: Clash of Carrots also works as some sort of reboot to the series, in which players take control of Ninjin; an anthropomorphic rabbit who is also a ninja.
Featuring fast-paced, and action-packed beat 'em up gameplay, the game will have players dodging all kinds of hazards and fighting hordes of enemies.
Ninjin: Clash of Carrots also offers local and online co-op, so players can be joined by a friend to help them take out all the enemies from this crazy universe the development team has created.
Like a proper beat 'em up,
Ninjin: Clash of Carrots features customisation that will equip players with over 150 weapons and items, as well as cosmetics to make their characters look unique. It isn't just beat 'em up greatness as the game also promises a robust storyline in Story Mode, which will take players through some crazy-looking levels and meet all kinds of new characters.
Take a look:
Battle through side-scrolling, anime-inspired worlds as Ninjin, a charismatic bunny, or as Akai, a ninja fox, to recover your village’s stolen carrots from the claws of the evil Shogun Moe. Take down throngs of enemies and bosses, collecting carrots along the way.
Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam today.
