Three days ago, it was reported that Electronic Arts had filed to trademark the title: Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. Prior to that, they'd announced that a new Plants vs. Zombies game was in the works for both consoles and PC.

At the time, we were still none the wiser whether it would be a third-person shooter in line with such instalments as Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and its sequel. However, now a trailer has released for Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.

The trailer surfaced on Twitter and was spotted by Wario64. It appears that Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville will be yet another third-person, multiplayer shooter much in the same way that the Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare games were. Some official promotional artwork also surfaced online.

Though the trailer was promptly removed, it will likely be officially released some time soon.
