A launch trailer for, Creepy Jar's upcoming survival simulator, Green Hell was recently released to coincide with the game becoming available in Early Access. Hit the jump to check it out...
From the former employees of Techland, the studio that brought you the zombie-invested Dying Light, comes a first-person "psychological survival simulator" dubbed Green Hell - which appears to be a combination of The Forest, Firewatch, and Far Cry.
Green Hell sees the player deep in the Amazonian rain forest - the titular "green hell". Your goal is to survive in the depths of a nightmarish environment using truly intuitive means to escape. Having only a radio at your disposal you will follow the familiar voice of a loved one through the endless and inhospitable jungle, unveiling bit by bit how you got there in the first place.
The survival game has now entered Early Access - with the full game set to release in three months time. It can be purchased for $19.99 on Steam. The Early Access version will provide a "sneak peak" at the game's story mode, allowing players to explore half of the game's final map, and encounter its menacing inhabitants. Updates will add new enemies, death animations, and fishing.
Along with the Early Access release came a brand new launch trailer - check it out below:
