Nickelodeon Kart Racers is a new racing game developed by Bamtang Games and published by GameMill Entertainment coming for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on the 23rd of October.

This game will be featuring a few familiar faces from popular Nickelodeon TV shows such as Rugrats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hey Arnold!, and SpongeBob SquarePants.

Much like other games in the genre, Nickelodeon Kart Racers will be focusing on multi-player and will feature over 24 "slime-themed" tracks for players to race in. Karts can also be upgraded by winning cups in either battle mode or local multiplayer.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers features, so far, 12 racers: Tommy, Angelica, and Reptar from Rugrats, SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob SquarePants, Arnold and Helga from Hey Arnold!, and Leo, Mikey, Donnie, and Raph from the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show.

Today, we get a new gameplay trailer for Nickelodeon Kart Racers, which actually looks pretty average—subpar, even, when compared to Super Mario Kart, the game it's obviously based on, but we'll let you be the judge.

Take a look:

Hit the Slime-filled race tracks with Nickelodeon Kart Racers! Select a racer from one of your favorite Nickelodeon shows and race your friends in up to 4-player local multiplayer or check out the Battle Arena for a variety of challenges.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on the 23rd of October.
