Revealed during Sony's PlayStation 5 reveal event back in June 2020, Gran Turismo 7 is the next instalment in the long-running, beloved racing video game series. Developed by Polyphony Digital, the game is set to launch for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 4th, 2022 — making it the first multi-console instalment in the series' history.

Nonetheless, despite being released both on the current generation and previous generation of PlayStation consoles, Gran Turismo 7 looks phenomenal. PlayStation has released a two-minute-long video that features no editing, simply to show off the game in action.

The track that features in this video is actually one that long-time fans of the series should recognise — Deep Forest Raceway. It's fictional and has featured in multiple prior instalments in the Gran Turismo series but it has never looked this good. Check out the gameplay footage for yourself below (via PlayStation).

In other Gran Turismo news, the "Porsche Vision Gran Turismo" was revealed during the broadcast of the Nations Cup Final of the FIA-certified Gran Turismo Championships 2021 World Finals. It's a car designed by Porsche that will be exclusive to the upcoming PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game. You can check out a video of the stunning, new car in-action on the aforementioned Deep Forest Raceway track below.

That's stunning! I wish it were in 3rd-person view so the track could be appreciated better.
I haven't played a GT game since 5 and I can't wait to take in the advancements.
