Redout is a fast-paced, anti-gravity racing game developed and published by 34BigThings that came out for Steam in 2016, with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports coming out in August of 2017.

A Nintendo Switch port of the game was announced back in January of 2017 by Nicalis, when the console hadn't even come out yet; becoming one of the few official titles to be announced for The Big N's new handhled hybrid console, as well as the first original racer for said console. Pre-orders for the Redout Switch port were available on Amazon at one point but have since been removed.

Ever since the announcement, the project went completely silent, leading people to believe that the game had been quietly cancelled. Thankfully, new information has surfaced online as Redout for the Nintendo Switch has just been reated by the ESRB, which means that the game could finally be making its debut on Nintendo's handhel console some time before the end of the year.

We have yet to hear official news by either 34BigThings or Nicalis, but when games get rated, it usually means that they are close to being released.

Redout is a tribute to classic anti-gravity racing games. It is designed to be an uncompromising, fast, tough and satisfying driving experience, soaked in the sensory overload that stands at the core of the arcade racing genre.

Redout is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
