We may have some potentially bad news for those players who are anticipating Spike Chunsoft's upcoming AI: The Somnium Files, as the developer has revealed that physical copies for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch have been delayed.

The good news is that the game will still be launching on the 17th of September, and players can easily download it from the respective online stores. With all that said, AI: The Somnium Files physical copies will be released a mere week after the game officially launches; becoming available on the 24th of September.

While this may be an inconvenient for those players who can't wait to get their hands on those physical copies of AI: The Somnium Files, the delay isn't too drastic to make people cancel their orders or purchase the digital version as they wait for the physical release.

The mind never lies... In a near-future Tokyo, detective Kaname Date is on the case of a mysterious serial killer. Date must investigate crime scenes as well as dreams on the hunt for clues.

AI: The Somnium Files will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on the 17th of September.
