Rocket League developer Psyonix have announced a new partnership with WWE that will see the super-boosted-cars-meets-soccer game "all over the WWE universe."
Announcing the partnership on their
blog, Psyonix detailed that
Rocket League will appear across a variety of WWE mediums, from appearances on UpUpDownDown, WWE's YouTube gaming channel, to sponsorships at live WWE events. For example, Psyonix will be a partner of WrestleMania 34, one of the biggest sports and entertainment events in the world, where
Rocket League will be playable for attendees. Wrestlemania 34 will be hosted in New Orleans the weekend of April 8.
As for actual in-game WWE-themed items, we'll have to wait for details. Psyonix says WWE in-game customization items are coming later this year, with the first details being offered in April. Until then, there's a slew of
recently added DC themed items that have been added to the game.
