Considering that
Darksiders: Warmastered Edition launched for Nintendo Switch last month to generally positive reviews, it comes as no surprise that THQ Nordic is thinking about bringing the original's critically acclaimed sequel to the Japanese gaming system – at least according to EBGames.
As revealed by the Canadian retailer, the upcoming Nintendo Switch port of
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition will be priced at $29,99 (just like the first one), but that's all we know about that version at the time of this writing.
Deathinitive Edition is running in native 1080p resolution on the standard PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so it's rather safe to say that Switch will also support the same resolution.
In
Darksiders 2, the player has a chance to channel his inner Death, the brother of War. In Vigil Games' sequel, the grim hero has two main quests – erasing his brother's "crimes" and resurrecting humanity.
As a reminder, the original version of
Darksiders II was also released on Wii U back in 2012. Take a look:
The ultimate Darksiders II experience! 1080p native resolution. Reworked and tuned game balancing and loot distribution. Improved Graphic Render Engine for even higher visual quality, lighting and shadows. Improved and reworked level, character and environment graphics.
Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC NOW!
