Rumors of a delay for Final Fantasy XV first surfaced over the weekend and then were confirmed yesterday. Fan reaction has definitely been mixed, equally split between anger and understanding. No one is happy about the delay but half of the fans of the JRPG franchise seem willing to accept a 60 day delay if it means a more polished game.  

In an effort to appease those fans that are genuinely dismayed by the news, earlier today, Square Enix released the first 12-minutes of the companion film, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV.   Now they've followed that up with a 53-minute gameplay video which reveals a lot of new material.  There's definitely damage control intentions behind the sudden onslaught of new material being released but just because it's obvious doesn't mean it isn't working....
